Study On Pattern Design Method Of African Batik Cloth

Batik culture with unique charm has spread all over the world in ancient times and is loved by people of all nationalities in the world.Among them,African batik culture is original in style and still has great vitality up to now.African batik cloth pattern is an important part of African batik culture and art.Its formation is closely related to the life of Africans,geographical environment,climate characteristics,religious culture,artistic aesthetics and other factors.Through it,we can feel the aesthetic taste,national history,cultural information and life pursuit of Africans.Firstly,research on the pattern design method of African batik cloth can help the cultural and artistic exchange between China and Africa.Secondly,it can be concluded that the research can also help the positive development of batik cloth enterprises in China,and then further promote the economic and trade cooperation between China and Africa based on the SWOT analysis.There is no classification of African batik cloth patterns from the perspective of design in the field of African batik cloth researches so far.Through analysis and research on the patterns of African batik cloth,it can be divided into five categories from the perspective of pattern design,i.e.Wax batik cloth in waxy style,Super Wax batik cloth in waxy style,Ivory Coast style batik cloth,Khanga style batik cloth and Java style batik cloth.It also analyzes and summarizes the pattern characteristics,the source of pattern selection and the color characteristics of each batik cloth style.Based on that,the methods of each batik cloth pattern are obtained,and the corresponding design examples are given.
