Practical Application And Exploration Of "Zero Waste" Pattern Design Method In Leisure Women’s Clothing

For a long time,the garment industry is facing huge material waste and environmental pollution problems.To this end,many designers and environmental protection agencies conduct research on zero waste design strategy to ensure the sustainable development of the garment industry."Zero waste" pattern design method is an innovative design method for clothing structure in recent years,which aims to reduce fabric waste in the design and production processes,improve material utilization."Zero waste" pattern design method as one of them,is attracting more and more attention."Zero waste" pattern design method can improve the old cutting methods at the present stage,reduce fabric waste,and increase fabric utilization,so as to promote the development of environmental protection.By tracing the history of Chinese and Western clothing development,we can understand the origin and evolution of "zero waste" pattern.Combined with recent years’ studies of representative figures and works of "zero waste" pattern design,which can provide us the feasibility guarantee and designing idea for the practical application of "zero waste" pattern.At the same time,it can provide new design ideas for designers and try to start from the structure,bring more space for the design.This study aims at designing and making "zero waste" pattern for casual women wear.In practice,we need not only to analyze and do experimental verification on knowledge and method of operation of "zero waste" pattern,but also requires a combination of women’s fashion trends,market demands,to use the details of the design and popular elements to ensure the finished garments mature and fashion,finally get a practical “zero waste” pattern.Through the above practical process we can demonstrate the "zero waste" pattern of the operation,to summarize and use the design rules of "zero waste" pattern method and further promote the combination of the pattern and actual operation of "zero waste",so that achieve the goal of reducing the waste of material.
