Intangible cultural heritage is the historical and cultural carrier of a country and an ethnic group,and it is the wealth jointly built and shared by mankind.For the outstanding heritage in the vast land of China,we should give consideration to both protection and inheritance,continue the historical context,make the traditional culture "live" and enhance our ethnic cultural confidence.Based on this,Danzhai Miao batik is of great research value as an intangible cultural heritage in China.Danzhai Miao batik not only represents the lifestyle of Miao people,but also is the inheritance of craftsmen,and it is also a continuation of cultural memory.To realize the inheritance and innovation of Danzhai batik,its importance is beyond doubt.Danzhai Miao people’s batik is well known by the public because of its unique visual symbols,so it is difficult to effectively promote the development of batik industry in Danzhai Miao villages,and little is known about the growing environment and regional culture of batik.This paper focuses on Guizhou Danzhai Miao Batik,and takes Paimo Village in Danzhai County as the research site of Danzhai Miao Batik,combing its cultural connotation,regional environment,pattern composition and technological process,focusing on finding the commonness and characteristics between Guizhou Danzhai Miao Batik and fabric products in modern indoor homes,insisting on finding the connection point of inheritance and innovation,and the combination point of traditional aesthetics and modern fashion.Grasp the artistic design thread of design inheritance-change-innovation,combine traditional skills with the tide of the times,and condense into a series of home fabric products of "Made in China" and "Created in China",promote the innovative brand of Danzhai Miao batik culture with unique fabric products,give full play to the existing value in Danzhai’s living environment and the cultural inheritance of Danzhai batik art,and convey the cultural memory of Danzhai Miao batik with tangible things.
