Study On The Impact Of Social Support On The Life Satisfaction Of Coal Miners

As a new type of labor force emerging in the process of reform and opening up and industrialization and urbanization,migrant workers group has become an important part of industrial workers,they are distributed in various industries of the national economy,in the processing and manufacturing industry,construction,extractive industries and sanitation,domestic work,catering and other services have accounted for more than half of the employees,is an important force to promote China's economic and social development,therefore,to fully understand and solve the problem of migrant workers to ensure the stable development of China's social and economic development is of great significance.However,due to the limitation of industrial structure and the low level of education and knowledge of migrant workers,more than half of them work in high-risk industries such as coal mining,non-coal mining,construction and machinery manufacturing.Therefore,the understanding and solution of the problem of migrant workers is an important part of the concern for migrant workers in high-risk industries,among them,life satisfaction is one of the areas we need to pay attention to,because General Secretary Xi pointed out that the people's yearning for a better life is our goal,as an important dimension of quality of life,the level of people's living satisfaction has become an important standard for the realization of a better society,so the study of life satisfaction has important practical significance.Social support refers to the spiritual or material help and support system given to individuals from all aspects of society,including parents,relatives,friends,etc.,and the more social support from different groups,the better the individual can cope with life problems,thus improving life satisfaction.Therefore,this paper intends to take the representative of the high-risk industry group-coal miners as the research object,to explore the impact of social support on the life satisfaction of this group,so as to provide reference for caring for migrant workers in high-risk industries.Based on the theory of social support,536 coal miners were surveyed in thisstudy,starting with subjective support,objective support and social support utilization,showing the basic situation of social support for coal miners,then using Diener's "Life Satisfaction Scale" as a tool to describe and analyze the life satisfaction of coal miners,and finally,using the multi-regression analysis method to explore the impact of social support on the life satisfaction of coal miners.The study found that the more subjective support is perceived,the higher the life satisfaction of coal miners,the less significant impact of objective support on coal miners' life satisfaction,and the higher the utilization of social support,the higher the life satisfaction of coal miners.At the same time,the study found that personal factors,such as marital status,age also affected the life satisfaction of coal miners.Therefore,we should improve the life satisfaction of migrant workers in high-risk industries from the perspective of perfecting the original informal social support system,broadening the formal social support network,improving the utilization of social support,improving the quality of information support,and improving the enterprise management system.
