| TS Company is a wholly-owned enterprise of Jotun group in China.It was founded in October 2009,with a total investment of more than 38 million US dollars,an area of 80000 square meters and an annual production capacity of 50 million liters.The base is one of the largest and most advanced coating factories in China.As one of the top ten coatings brands in the world,Jotun was founded in 1926.It is an international coatings group company with a long history of more than 90 years.Due to the rapid development of the company’s business,the original inventory management mode of TS Company shows more and more disadvantages,which are mainly reflected in the following aspects: 1.The turnover rate of inventory products is not high,the inventory backlog is too large,and the inventory cycle is too long;2.The product demand forecast is not accurate;3.The inventory counting process is not standardized;4.The inventory assessment system is not perfect;5.The overall and link benefits.There are contradictions;6.The management mode is separated from the development.The above problems have a negative impact on the operation of TS Company,and its inventory management needs to be optimized.Therefore,this paper takes inventory management as the core,uses the relevant theories and methods of inventory management,combined with the current inventory management status and existing problems of TS Company,finds out the relevant factors affecting its inventory management,and analyzes the causes of the existing problems of inventory management of TS Company.According to the existing problems,the inventory management optimization scheme of TS Company is put forward.This paper first expounds and summarizes the existing inventory management theory,and according to the actual situation of TS Company,selects more effective inventory management means to summarize and sort out,through the analysis of the existing problems in the inventory management of TS Company,combined with theexcellent management system to optimize and improve the problems of TS Company,and finally puts forward solutions.The optimization scheme can make TS Company make full use of the existing resources,reduce the occupation of inventory funds,accelerate capital turnover,shorten the operation cycle,design and maintain a reasonable inventory level,and improve the core competitiveness of the enterprise.The improvement of enterprise inventory management depends on the innovation of management concept and advanced management mode.I hope that through the research of this paper,we can provide reference for the majority of coating manufacturing enterprises to optimize and improve their own inventory management under the modern management mode. |
