| In recent years,the Chinese government has put forward strategies such as protecting the Yangtze River and intensified efforts to regulate the entire chemical industry.This puts forward higher management requirements for traditional enterprises.As a liquid chemical wharf warehousing enterprise with a long history,company A has also faced the development problem of enterprise transformation.Cost control is an important means for company A during its transformation and development.How to reduce costs as far as possible on the premise of meeting normal production services has become an important challenge for the survival and development of company A.Supplier management inventory is an advanced form of management.It can better reduce the bullwhip effect caused by the independent inventory setting of each enterprise in the supply chain,improve the comprehensive competitiveness of the supply chain,and achieve a win-win situation for all enterprises in the supply chain.Based on the VMI theory and relevant literature,this paper takes company A as the study case and analyzes the current procurement and inventory management of supporting materials of Company A,as well as the main problems and causes.On this basis,it analyzes the implementation conditions of company A’s VMI strategy for warehousing supporting materials,and concludes that the VMI strategy is feasible through feasibility and necessity analysis.Therefore,combined with the current situation and main problems of company A’s warehouse supporting material management,this paper studies the overall optimization scheme of company A’s warehouse supporting material procurement and inventory management based on VMI.It is studied that the design objectives and principles of VMI mode,technical problems and safeguard measures of VMI mode implementation,VMI mode selection,implementation process and implementation steps,etc.Finally,through the comparison of economic data,it’s analyzed that the implementation effect and income of VMI from the aspects of purchasing,inventory management and supplier management.At the same time,the possible risks faced by all parties in the implementation of VMI are also analyzed,and risk prevention methods are proposed,such as interest distribution and information sharing mechanism of all parties.Company A is representative in the liquid chemical storage and transportation industry.Company A takes the lead in the industry to implement the VMI strategy of warehousing and supporting materials,and optimize the procurement and inventory management of supporting materials.This is an innovation of this paper.This should have certain reference value to many enterprises in the industry. |
