Research On Inventory Management Optimization Of B Imported Panel Trading Company

Wood-based panel is the product of efficient use of forestry resources.With the development of science and technology and industry,decorative wood-based panel represented by melamine faced chipboard has been widely used in architectural decoration and furniture,and has a broad market prospect.However,due to the impact of the epidemic,imported wood-based panel trade has encountered numerous obstacles.As a private small-scaled enterprise,the study of this paper is highly dependent on the inventory of B import panel company.In the face of rising raw materials,reduced export production,extended delivery time,high shipping costs and other situations,B company's supply chain management is facing multiple pressures,especially the inventory management link has huge risks.This paper first sorts out the relevant theories and literature of inventory management,and introduces different classifications and application methods of demand forecasting,inventory planning and warehouse management,laying theoretical foundation for subsequent research.Secondly,through in-depth interviews with internal and external personnel of the enterprise,we found that the enterprise has some problems,such as inaccurate demand prediction,inflated safety inventory,chaotic management of slowselling products and defective products,and difficult inventory information query.Through in-depth analysis of the purchasing and sales data of enterprises in the past five years,it is found that the reasons for the problems are as follows: demand forecasting fails to achieve cross-department coordination,supply chain uncertainties push up the inventory level,lack of process for the replacement of new and old products,extensive and inefficient warehouse management and information barriers in different ERP systems.On the basis of the study,this paper puts forward five main optimization scheme includes the reconstruction plan and order execution order of the interagency approval process,the plan of inventory collaboration with suppliers,establish product launching and elimination process,gradually improve warehouse delicacy management,carry out information fusion between different ERP systems and guarantee measures based on adjustment of organization structure,increase job training and improve the implementation of encouraging assessment.Through the investigation and analysis,this paper main research conclusions are drawn: under the external management environment of increasingly serious,break the barrier of the information,business process reshape across departments,establish efficient department coordination,in order to break through the existing supply bottlenecks and improve "high inventories low in stock" inventory,make the enterprise have the opportunity of survival and development.The optimization scheme proposed in this paper has a certain strategic guiding significance to improve the management efficiency and competitiveness of B company,and can provide practical and effective guarantee for B company's long-term strategic goals.
