Inventory Management Optimization Of AY Guitar Company

The world economy is growing rapidly and competition among industries is intensifying.Manufacturers need to face the challenges of complex business environment such as changes in customer demand,shortening of customer order time,fluctuation of raw material procurement cycle,price increase,and increase of minimum order quantity.Companies will continue to control all costs in order to maximize profits,The focus of business competition is increasingly between companies in the supply chain.Inventory management is an important part of the continuous optimization of the supply chain to ultimately realize its own value.By analyzing the current situation of inventory management of AY Guitar Factory in recent years and its existing inventory management system,we use scientific analysis methods to adjust and optimize the inventory management strategy of AY Guitar,so as to make the inventory reach the optimal stock quantity and reduce the excessive capital investment of the enterprise in terms of materials.In this paper,the actual sales data of AY guitar factory since five years are taken as the benchmark,the overall data of its production sales and inventory during five years are analyzed and compared,a scientific method is used to outline the existing inventory problems,the current inventory and inventory management problem points of AY guitar factory are analyzed,and the material classification method of kraji model is used to classify and differentiate the inventory management materials.According to the analysis results of inventory classification,different inventory management strategies are adopted for non-identical categories of inventory materials and product management,and four methods of joint inventory management,economic lot,reorder point and regular order are used respectively.The RASCI model is used to improve the inventory management problem caused by order defective products,and the inventory reduction management under the learning curve failure rate function is used to further reduce the chance of defective products by strengthening workers’ training and learning.The significance of writing this paper aims to provide new ideas for optimizing inventory management for the same industry as AY guitars and other manufacturing enterprises.
