Research About The Behavior Of Residents' Participation In Community Environmental Management

Government always concerned about the tense situation of environment.It also increase government's load,because of the cause of it's complicated reasons.The rise of management theory,environmental consciousness and residents' consciousnesses make residents become the integral part of community.Objectives: Analysis citizens' participation and impact in environmental improvement for increasing residents to participate more in community governing.Base on the reasons analysis above that cam advance the community environmental improvement.Methods: Investigation the 177 citizens in Putian by using the descriptive and correlative research design,cross-sectional questionnaire survey and convenient sampling methods that base on the governance,public participation,planned behavior theories and the questionnaire of residents participating in community environmental governance.Knowing the situation of residents' participation in community environment,residents' acknowledge about community current situation and the aspiration of residents to improve community environment.Results: It shows that the average value of Putian residents participating in community environmental governance is 3.33.Residents participate in private area more than public area.Residents in Putian are satisfied with current environment and take active part in environmental improvement.Residents think they have quality for environmental improvement.What's more,residents are quite willing to improve the community environment,but they don't have enough time to do thesethings.Finding out it has positive impact on in the Putian citizens' acknowledge and feelings by using factor analysis,correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.The most impact on their feeling is the sense of environment,the influence coefficient was 0.284.Subject norms is the least impact reason in environmental improvement,the influence coefficient was 0.184.What's more research shows people in Putian face many difficult problems during environmental improvement.Conclusions: Putian citizens participate in community environmental governance to a higher degree and have a more active attitude,but there are still some deficiencies in the public sphere.Here are some suggestions:Firstly,the government should increase propaganda efforts.Secondly,establishing reasonable incentive mechanism and guarantee mechanism to mobilize the enthusiasm of residents to participate in community environmental governance.Thirdly.ensuring the legitimate status of residents to participate in community environmental governance by the right of sharing.Fourthly,increasing the communication among residents to encourage people to do things..Fifthly,broadening participation channels and communication channels,increasing opportunities for citizens' s participation in environmental governance.
