The cultural symbols of the Dong people are very rich in content,such as the wind and rain bridge,the drum tower,the Yangko,the traditional houses and so on.These symbolic cultural symbols are the special meaning marks embodying the characteristics of the Dong people and the national spirit.In the Xinhuang Autonomous County,where the Dong population accounts for more than 80%,its specialty product,the packaging design of the yellow beef,uses the Dong culture symbol to add elements that symbolize the Dong culture in the logo and graphics.As national culture plays an increasingly important role in the digital and diversified design field,the national cultural symbols are incorporated into the packaging,to explore the national cultural connotation,to shape the national characteristic brand,to develop product added value,to spread the Dong culture,and to promote the locality.Economic development is undoubtedly of great significance.From the perspective of the cultural symbols of the Dong people,the thesis uses field research,comparative analysis,case analysis and other research methods;from the packaging design principles that follow regional,innovative and green design;the deconstruction and reorganization of elements,the planarization of imagery,The design method of national color decoration was explored.By using the artistic expression of illustration,the symbol of the Dong element is designed with four main illustrations,six unique shapes,a packaging form that refers to the local bamboo craft,and a generalized handbag made of kraft paper.Packaging,in order to promote and promote the brand new beef brand,we also designed posters,bookmarks,badges,mobile phone shells and other cultural derivatives.The paper consists of six parts.The first part,which mainly reviews and explains the research background,research purpose and significance,research status at home and abroad,research content and methods,research key points and technical routes.The second part is the exploration and confrontation of Xinhuang Dong culture.The selection of the cultural symbols of the Xinhuang Dong people;the third part is the market research,development analysis and brand building of Xinhuang beef,which focuses on the SWOT analysis of the development of Xinhuang beef packaging;the fourth part discusses the beef packaging based on the Dong culture.The design principle and design method;the fifth part introduces the design practice process of beef packaging based on the Dong culture,including six design practice forms such as logo,main character,main graphic and auxiliary graphic;the sixth part is from the research of the thesis.The innovation,the inadequacies,and the outlook for the future are summarized.The thesis closely follows the theme of cultural self-confidence,and carries out a comprehensive,systematic and in-depth study on the application of Dong culture symbols in the packaging design of Xinhuang beef products,which has important academic value and practical value.
