Due to upgrade manufacturing,the market competition is increasing.In order to meet increasingly strict delivery demand.We need to improve the response speed of the supply chain.The efficient level of warehouse operation is important.So to plan a scientific layout and set up modernized warehouse location is necessary.J company raw material warehouse has lots of cross lines and circuitous logistics route.It uses racks for storage,but no effective location management.Only by raw material label management,the warehouse location settings are mainly composed of experience,without the whole optimization.The warehouse efficiency is low.The whole warehouse inventory accuracy is not high.The location utilization rate is low.Therefore,by warehouse renovation,we plan to do warehouse facilities layout adjustment and optimization of location for raw materials to improve the whole warehouse operation level.This paper is based on J company raw material warehouse.According to the theory of facility layout adjustment,SLP method is used to analyze the warehouse layout.We fix each function location relation area demand.Then we get the improvement proposal.We use the pros and cons analysis method and fuzzy evaluation method to evaluate the proposal.We get the final optimization proposal.At the same time,according to the distance of the location and preparation area we use ABC classification to prioritize location.We analyze the picking data by EIQ analysis method.According to the picking frequency data to do the ABC classification of raw materials,then we optimize the configuration to the racks location to complete location optimization.Through the above two aspects of optimization to improve,we improve the warehouse layout,warehouse daily operation efficiency and raw material inventory accuracy.After the improvement,forklift using time fell by 11%,picking efficiency increase of 25% and inventory accuracy increase of 1.8%.
