| W Company is an e-commerce enterprise,mainly engaged in socks and other products,which are stored in its own warehouse.With the development of W Company’s business,the types of goods are more and more and the orders are also more and more large.Problems such as low efficiency and unreasonable utilization of area gradually appear in the working area of its warehouse.In order to meet the needs of further business development of W Company,it is of great significance to solve these problems one by one.Based on the investigation of W Company,this paper finds that the main reasons for the above problems are the unreasonable layout of the warehouse working area and the unscientific design of the storage location.Therefore,this paper carries out research from two aspects: layout and storage optimization.Firstly,the SLP method is used to analyze the logistics relationship,non-logistics relationship and comprehensive relationship among the functional areas on the basis of dividing the functional areas of the operation area.The location relationship diagram of each functional area is drawn according to the Tompkins relational table method,and the layout optimization scheme is obtained based on the actual situation of the operation area.Secondly,on the basis of the optimized layout,this paper further optimizes the storage position in the zero picking area of each shelf in the warehouse operation area.The optimization idea is to analyze the sales characteristics of the goods in the zero picking area of each shelf by EIQ method,classify the goods according to ABC,and make reasonable arrangement for the storage of each kind of goods.Finally,the effect of the optimized storage layout scheme was analyzed,and it was found that the operation efficiency of the optimized storage layout scheme was improved by 14.9%.The research of this paper is of practical significance to W Company and can also provide reference for similar enterprises. |
