"Impression Of Nanjing" Series Design

Under the background of economic globalization and the competing development of cultural and creative industries in various countries and regions,commemorative coins and medals that exist as currencies and their derivatives are highly characteristic and are important carriers for the spread of national and regional cultures across the world.This thesis is an analytical study on the design of the medallion under the vision of cultural creativity from the perspective of Nanjing city culture,based on the design of graduation medal "Impression of Nanjing" series.Through the methods of literature research and field investigation,Nanjing's humanities and natural landscapes are summarized,Nanjing's most distinctive landscape elements are ed from concrete objects and presented in a patterned relief.Through the analysis of the commemorative coin design works issued by the People' s Bank of China,the use of design elements such as traditional elements,geographical symbols,and natural features in the design of commemorative coins and medals was discussed,and their characteristics and methods were summed up and used in the graduation design "Impression of Nanjing" series.With the development of the times,the cultural and creative market is rich and varied,and competition is fierce.Only products that inherit tradition,give emotions,and keep up with the times can occupy a place in the international market.The development of the commemorative coin and medal design is a dialectical process.Its form and content embody the beauty of the times while absorbing traditions and express the harmonious coexistence of people,nature,and design.
