Traditional houses combine nature and adapt to the climate,which is the crystallization of the wisdom of ancient people.The adaptation of buildings to climate is a permanent topic.In the contemporary era,exploring the science behind the climate adaptation of traditional houses not only helps us better understand the optimization and reuse of traditional houses,but also helps us to rethink and understand the construction technology.Xuzhou is located in the northeastern coastal zone of China,which is the main road connecting Central China and North China,North China and South China.The local houses are the "transition zone" between the traditional houses of South and North,and its architectural characteristics also have the characteristics of blending North and South.Therefore,studying the climate adaptability of Xuzhou traditional houses is a supplement to the research of local houses,and it is also a blank to improve this area.This article is divided into four parts:The first part is an overview of Xuzhou climate and environment.It explains the natural and social factors of Xuzhou,and summarizes the meteorological characteristics of Xuzhou based on meteorological data.The second part is the introduction and qualitative analysis of Xuzhou traditional architectural features.First introduce the traditional architecture of Xuzhou area from macro to micro,and then analyze the reasons and advantages specifically,choose the location to be overcast,and choose the high places to avoid flood disasters.The courtyard organizations are divided into single-house,multi-entry,and large-scale residences.Planting afforestation adjusts the microclimate,building materials are adapted to local conditions,and the characteristics of the materials are used to form different building structures and nodes.The third part investigates and surveys the traditional buildings in Xuzhou,sorts out the relevant drawings and data of the buildings,and conducts physical environment tests in winter and summer,and then uses computer simulation to analyze the climate of Xuzhou.The results show that the enclosure structure and ventilation are effective means of passive measures for the building.The building enclosure structure has a greater impact on the indoor thermal environment,and the current indoor ventilation of the traditional houses is poor.It provides a basis for specifically discussing the climate adaptability factors of Xuzhou traditional buildings.The fourth part is based on the factors affecting the thermal and wind environment of Xuzhou,combing the structure,method and size of Xuzhou area,using computer software(Ecotect,Phoenices)to quantify the impact of different influencing factors on the environment,which is more common in Xuzhou area The Sanheyuan and Siheyuan in the two forms proposed optimized sizes and strategies,and optimized the size of typical buildings.To sum up,this article systematically studies the climate adaptability strategy of traditional residential buildings in light of the geographical location of Xuzhou,and puts forward suggestions for further improvement,which will provide reference for the optimization and design of the buildings in the future.
