Study On Flood And Drought Disasters In Liaoning During The Republic Of China From The Perspective Of Environmental History

In the final analysis,the problem of natural disasters is an environmental problem.Excessive human intervention in the environment will cause natural disasters to become increasingly serious and frequent,and then affect human survival and development.Liaoning has excellent natural conditions and was once the first choice for immigrants in the customs.However,since modern times,especially in the period of the Republic of China,the environment in Liaoning has been subject to excessive interference from human activities,resulting in tension between humans and nature and frequent floods and droughts.From the perspective of environmental history,this article combines famine history with related theories and research methods in statistics,geography,sociology,demography,environmental science and other disciplines.It is summarized by the statistical analysis of data and found that: Republic of China During the period,flood and drought disasters in Liaoning occurred frequently,almost every year;the distribution of time and space was uneven,and seasonal and regional characteristics were obvious;the duration of the drought was more continuous than the flood,and the flood affected the area more extensively than the drought.The causes of frequent floods and droughts in Liaoning during the Republic of China were mainly caused by two factors: First,the natural environment of natural geography such as monsoon climate,"concave" topography,conformal water system,meadow soil and sandy soil in Liaoning Second,the natural environment degradation caused by human factors such as the sharp decline in forests,over-cultivation,and the prosperity of industry and mining.In the face of flood and drought disasters,a series of environmental protection laws and measures have been issued to adjust the relationship between humans and nature.For example,the establishment of relevant environmental protection management agencies,the promulgation of environmental protection laws,publicity and education to improve the public's awareness of environmental protection,and the implementation of forest protection,afforestation and water conservancy,etc.Measures against floods and droughts.These adjustment laws and measures are maturing,but the war and Japanese colonization have affected their stable implementation,resulting in inadequate adjustment effects.From the causes of flood and drought disasters in Liaoning and the experience of adjusting the relationship between man and nature during the Republic of China period,we can see that human beings coexist with nature and natural disasters,and over-use of nature will certainly be hit by nature.Protecting the environment is a common cause of mankind,but war and colonization seriously hinder the harmonious development of the relationshipbetween man and nature.Therefore,maintaining peace is the prerequisite for the harmonious development of man and nature,and the establishment of a community of human destiny is necessary way for the harmonious development of man and nature.
