Research On The Impact Of Knowledge Spillover On Regional Innovation Eficiency From The Perspective Of Space

Through decades of construction work,there are remarkable progress happened in China in its scientific and technological,and China gradually becoming a major innovator.However,the world is changing rapidly and competition among countries is constantly intensifying.With the rapid development of new technologies,new forms of business and new models such as big data,internet and artificial intelligence,technology has increasingly exerted a profound impact on production and life,and they played an important role in the technological and world landscape.In the face of changing circumstances,China must seize development opportunities,enhance its innovation capacity and technological level,and give full play to the important role of innovation in economic growth and development if it is to firmly occupy its position in the fierce international competition.According to relevant theories,knowledge spillovers can promote the sharing of innovative resources through the flow of people,cooperation,trade and other aspects,and help promote regional technological progress and innovative development.The research on the relationship between knowledge spillover and regional innovation efficiency will help clarify the influence of knowledge spillover on innovation efficiency among different regions in China,fully explore the positive role of knowledge spillover,so as to explore more targeted and effective ways to strengthen regional connection and push forward the development of national scientific and technological innovation.Considering the occurrence and elements of knowledge spillover flow often closely linked,when we intend to quantify the knowledge spillover,knowledge spillover is often associated with the process of innovation elements in cross-regional exchange.And this article mainly through the human and capital flow to reflect regional knowledge spillovers,investigate its effect on the efficiency of regional innovation.In addition,in view of the influence of spatial heterogeneity on factor flow,a spatial econometric model was selected in the study of knowledge spillover effect in this paper,so as to better take geographical distance factors into consideration.After researching the theme with DEA model and spatial econometric model,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)Innovation efficiency shows regional differences.Most of the high-efficiency innovation areas are concentrated in the eastern part of China.However,due to the lack of human and capital factors,the innovation efficiency in the west part of China is not satisfactory.(2)From 2009 to 2017,the regional innovation performance among Chinese provinces was spatially correlated and there was a spatial agglomeration effect.(3)The flow of R&D human elements did not have a significant impact on regional innovation efficiency,and the flow of R&D capital elements had a driving effect on regional innovation efficiency.(4)The advancement of the marketization process would help improve the level of regional innovation.The optimization of industrial structure and foreign direct investment did not demonstrate certain positive effect on improving regional innovation efficiency.In view of the above conclusions,this paper believes that we should start from four aspects and give full play to the role of knowledge spillovers in promoting regional innovation.First,regional cooperation should be strengthened to promote coordinated development.Secondly,the channels for talent circulation should be unblocked,the information circulation should be accelerated,the flow of talents should be guided reasonably,and the cost of talent flow should be reduced.Thirdly,efforts should be made to improve the service efficiency of financial institutions,build national capital circulation channels,promote cross-regional capital flows,create a win-win situation in all regions,and promote the efficient allocation of capital elements.Finally,according to the results reflected by the control variables,advancing the national marketization process is also an important channel for improving innovation efficiency.
