Discovery And Transformation Of Rural Resources Under The Background Of The Strategy Of Rural Revitalization

The rural area is the birthplace of Chinese civilization.Agricultural production supports human's life.However,in the process of social modernization,the rural areas of China have gradually become synonymous with "backward" and "poverty." In recent years,the large outflow of labor in rural areas,which has been caused by uneven development between urban and rural,has further widened the gap.Therefore,in recent years,all sectors of society have invested in the wave of "rural construction".The research purpose of this article is to discover the local rural resources,and carry out resource conversion and corresponding practical activities under the background of the rural revitalization,which is the country's vigorous advocated strategy,take thought of artistic design as the guide,combining the backward rural appearance of Liuyin Town to discover the local rural resources.The main subject of this research project is the canal in Liuyin Town,Beibei District,Chongqing.The canal is a part of the water conservancy project of Shengtian Reservoir,which built in the 1970 s.It was no longer used at the end of the last century.It was originally a water conservancy facility to promote agricultural production.After losing its irrigation function,it was gradually forgotten by the local villagers in the rural environment.For more than two decades after the canal was no longer used,part of it was rebuilt and demolished,and the remaining canal still stands in Liuyin Town without attention.When I participated in other rural construction practices in Liuyin Town in 2018,I noticed the canals in Liuyin Town.I considered the canals to be an important available resource in the "rural revitalization" of Liuyin Town,and then carried out an in-depth study of the canals.The Liuyin canal has not been known for more than 40 years.Therefore,in this article,the history and current situation of the Liuyin canal are first sorted out by field surveys,file review,and village interviews,to make more People find and know the Liuyin canal,and to pay attention to the rural resources which are always being neglected.Chapter three is to explore the connotation and value behind the Liuyin canal.On the basic of the sorted history,combining multiple contemporary perspectives,we can take a close look at it in a more dimensional way.Chapter Four is the exploration of the path and methods of rural resource transformation.There are few cases for reference which is similar to this kind of rural resource transformation of Liuyin Canal.Therefore,the author,with her own understanding of the Liuyin canal,draws on other models of art and design interventions in rural construction cases,focusing on exploring the cultural transformation of the canal.The main idea of focusing on the conversion of Liuyin canal is to transform it to cultural resources.In order to achieving the effective transformation of the rural resources,the author hopes to shape,strengthen and regain the soul of the village through a series of studies on canals.Thereafter,rethinking and re-use after the loss of its function can be possible,and the long-term sustainable development of the canal could be achieved.It could be regarded as a part of Liuyin Town's rural characteristic culture,promoting the contemporary transformation of Liuyin Town.
