The western region is a storage place for a large number of coal resources in China, but the ecological environment is fragile. The ecological environment has received great attention. In order to select the drought-resistance and dust-resistance tree species suitable for the growth of coal bases in the arid sand area of Northwest China, this paper taked the Yangchangwan coal mine of Shenhua Ningmei Group in the arid sand area of Ningxia as the experimental site, and selected Caragana korshinskii Kom,Tamarix chinensis Lour,Elaeagnus angustifolia Linn,Amorpha fruticosa Linn,Hedysarum scoparium Fisch.et Mey,Ulmus pumila L,Ammopiptanthus mongolicus,Caryopteris mongholica Bunge, and Sabina vulgaris Ant seedlings were used as experimental materials, and potted plants were used for drought-retaining and dust-retaining tests. The growth status, biomass, dust retention, photosynthetic physiology and other indicators were determined. The subordinate function method was used to evaluate and select the drought resistance and dust resistance of nine tree species. The results showed that:1?The seedling plants of different tree species grow differently under drought stress, showing different drought resistance and adaptability.According to the selection evaluation target and measurement index, the drought resistance evaluation index system of tree species including 6 criterion layers and 28 index layers is established. The weight of each index is calculated by principal component analysis, and the drought resistance of seedlings of different tree species is compared by membership function method. The order of strength and weakness is:Ammopiptanthus mongolicus>Hedysarum scoparium Fisch.et Mey>Sabina vulgaris Ant>Caragana korshinskii Kom>Ulmus pumila L>Amorpha fruticosa Linn>Caryopteris mongholica Bunge>Tamarix chinensis Lour>Elaeagnus angustifolia Linn, among them,Ammopiptanthus mongolicus,Hedysarum scoparum Fisch.et Mey and Sabina vulgaris Ant grow well under progressive drought stress, followed by drought resistance of Caragana korshinskii Kom,Ulmus pumila Land Amorpha fruticosa Linn, the resistance of Caryopteris mongholica Bunge,Tamarix chinensis Lour and Elaeagnus angustifolia Linn.2?Under the environmental treatment of dust in the coal base, the performance of different tree species at seedling stage is different in terms of growth status, water physiology, photosynthetic physiology, and dust retention. In this paper, according to the different external morphological characteristics of each tree species after the dust is damaged, the grading standard of the dust-retaining damage of the leaves is determined. The dust-resistant evaluation index system of the tree with 5 criterion layers and 20 index layers is established, and each component is calculated by principal component analysis. The index weights are compared by the membership function method to compare the dust resistance of different tree species at the seedling stage. The order of strength and weakness is as follows:Caragana korshinskii Kom>Amorpha fruticosa Linn>Sabina vulgaris Ant>Hedysarum scoparium Fisch.et Mey>Tamarix chinensis Lour>Ammopiptanth us mongolicus>Ulmus pumila L>Caryopteris mongholica Bunge>Elaeagnus angustifolia Linn, among which Caragana korshinskii Kom,Amorpha fruticosa Linn and Sabina vulgaris Ant are more dust-resistant and have good environmental adaptability to coal bases, while Hedysarum scoparium Fisch.et Mey,Tamarix chinensis Lour and Ammopiptanthus mongolicus have the second dust-resistance ability, while Ulmus pumila L,Caryopteris mongholica Bunge and Elaeagnus angustifolia Linn have weak dust-resistance and are greatly affected by dust retention.Comprehensive analysis of drought resistance and dust resistance of 9 tree species at seedling stage,The resistance of Sabina vulgaris Ant is the best, followed by resistance of Hedysarum scoparium Fisch.et Mey,Caragana korshinskii Kom,Ammopiptanthus mongolicus,Amorpha fruticosa Linn,Tamarix chinensis Lour and Ulmus pumila L.Elaeagnus angustifolia Linn and Caryopteris mongholica Bunge have the weakest resistance...
