Research On Evaluation Of Coordinated Development Of Water Resources Utilization And Economic Growth In Hebei Province

Water resources are basic natural resources and an indispensable and irreplaceable resource for human life and economic activities.The spatial distribution of water resources in China makes the economic development of water-deficient areas constrained,and the sustainable development of water resources and economy faces difficulties.Hebei Province is located in the central belt of the Bohai Sea area and is a typical resource-deficient province in China.With the development of the economy,the contradiction between water supply and demand in Hebei Province has become more and more prominent.It is not only the shortage of water resources,also the serious overexploitation of groundwater,poor water quality and water pollution,restrict the sustainable economic and social development of Hebei Province.This article takes Hebei Province as the research object,study on the current situation of economic development and the use of water resources in Hebei Province,analyzes the interaction relationship between water resources utilization and economic growth and the degree of coordination between them.First of all,this paper analyzes the economic development and water resources status of Hebei Province in the past ten years.The economic aggregate of Hebei Province has shown a steady rising,but the economic growth rate has slowed down.The water resources situation in Hebei Province is not optimistic.In the case of imbalance between water supply and demand,water pollution is still serious,and the water use efficiency is low.Water resources in Hebei Province still face greater pressure.Secondly,this paper uses the VAR model to analyze the dynamic relationship between water resources utilization and economic growth in Hebei Province.The research shows that there is a long-term equilibrium change relationship between them?With the improvement of water use efficiency,the total water consumption,the water consumption of the primary industry,the secondary industry have experienced negative growth during the economic growth process,and the water consumption of the tertiary industry has continued to increase.The water consumption of the secondary industry contributes the most to the forecasted variance of GDP,and the contribution of other industrial water consumption to the forecasted variance of GDP is low;GDP contributes the most to the forecasted variance of the tertiary industry's water consumption,and contributes less to the forecasted variance of other industries' water consumption.Thirdly,this paper builds a comprehensive evaluation index of water resources utilization system and economic development system,measures their comprehensive development evaluation index,and constructs a coupling coordination degree model to evaluate the degree of coupling and coordination between water resources system and economic system in Hebei Province.The study found that the development of water resources system in Hebei Province lags behind the economic system,the degree of coordination gradually improved,but was at a lower level.Finally,propose relevant policy recommendations.
