Study Of Mechanics Linkage Between High School Physics And College Physics

College physics is a compulsory course for science and engineering majors in universities,and mechanics is the ticket of college physics.Mechanics is the foundation for the study of freshmen,so the study of mechanics is of great importance.However,college freshmen have great difficulties in studying college physics mechanics at this stage,such as the inapplicability of the learning method,the abstraction of the concepts and principles,and failing to keep up with the coursework,etc.Our survey finds that learning difficulties of mechanics for freshmen are not only the problems of university education,but also the lack of linkage teaching between college physics and middle school physics.Nowadays,the problem of the lack of connection between university physics and high school physics education is obvious,which will affect the study of students’ follow-up courses.This paper mainly studies the above problems from the following parts:(1)teaching situation analysis of university physics and middle school physics;(2)to investigate the physics learning situation of high school students and their understanding of university physics,in order to study the necessity of connection;(3)analyze similarities and differences between middle school physics and college physics,to find the join points;(4)study on the mechanical teaching linkage for seniors in high school;(5)study on the mechanical teaching linkage for college freshmen;(6)analyze the teaching effects of the mechanical teaching linkage between the students of high school and the college freshmen.In this paper,the similarities and differences between physics and university physic are analyzed base on literature analysis,questionnaire investigation and content analysis.and find out the join points for teaching practice,the results show that it has remarkable effect on improvement of learning effect for college freshmen if the mechanics part of the teaching linkage is carried out in high school.
