For universities students, compared with their period in middle school, in the both aspects of study and life, there are great differences. Entering into university and facing a total different environment, students are actually facing a significant turning point in their life. How to adjust to the study in college is the primary thing which students must deal with. For the college teachers, they will have such responsibility to help students finish the successful transition. While students are receiving new level study, they should be confronted with such problems like how to effectively connect their former acquired knowledge with their current study. Taking the physics major as an example, this paper will explore how to improve students study from the view of education connection.Firstly, through a great amount of literature materials, this paper gives a definition of education connection, psychological analysis of college fresh students, and illustration on the related theories of education connection. Secondly, it makes an investigation into the physics teaching in colleges. From the view of education connection, it analyze the problems existing in current physics teaching, and make a comparison between the teaching ways in middle school and college, then summarize the main factors affecting physics teaching in college. Lastly, this paper gives some suggestions for resolving the existing problems, and lists some practical cases, with the hope that this paper will contribute to making up some lost in education connection between college and middle school, and promote the effective physics teaching in college.
