Study On The Evaluation Of Sustainable Utilization Of Land Resources In Jiangsu Province

Land resource is the carrier of all resources and environmental factors,and its sustainable utilization is of great significance for the survival and development of mankind.However,extensive land use,blind urban expansion and illegal land conduct have caused serious impact on the sustainable utilization of land resources in China in recent years.In order to coordinate the relationship between the the social economic development and the land protection,to ensure the sustainable development of the national food security and social stability,the further research on the sustainable utilization of land resources is particularly necessary and urgent.Only by scientifically evaluating the status of land use can we make rational and efficient use of land resource,so as to ensure the sustainable development of the whole society and economy.According to the connotation and goal of sustainable utilization of land resources,following the scientific,operable,foreseeable and regional evaluation principles and combining the actual situation in the research area,20 factors are selected from the four aspects of resource conditions,environmental conditions,economic level and social development,in order to establish the evaluation index system of sustainable utilization of land resources in Jiangsu province.Using the AHP and entropy weight method to determine the weight of the index,the comprehensive index method,the single index multi angle evaluation method,couplingcoordination degree model and the analysis of obstacle factors were used to analyse the temporal and spatial characteristics of sustainable utilization of land resources in Jiangsu province,in order to obtain the comprehensive evaluation results of sustainable utilization of land resources in Jiangsu province from 1990 to 2015.The pertinent countermeasures and suggestions for future land resource utilization in Jiangsu province are put forward at the end of the paper.The main research results are as follows:(1)Analysis on temporal characteristics of sustainable utilization of land resources in Jiangsu province:1)The level of sustainable utilization of land resources in Jiangsu province is on the rise from 1990 to 2015.But the annual change rate of its sustainable level fluctuates greatly,and is still in an unstable state at present.2)As for the subsystems,the evaluation value of the resource and the environment subsystems has decreased obviously;the evaluation value of the social subsystem rises fluctuating;and the growth trend of the economic subsystem evaluation is particularly significant.3)The coupling degree and coordination degree of sustainable utilization of land resources in Jiangsu province are all on the rise.It is in the beginning stage of highly coupled coordination state,and there is still a greater space for the development at present.There is a growing gap between resource and environment subsystem.The degree of coordination between resource,environment,economy and social subsystems should be further improved.(1)Analysis on spatial characteristics of sustainable utilization of land resources in Jiangsu province:1)From the view of spatial distribution,the level of sustainable utilization of land resources in Jiangsu province has decreased from the southwest to the northeast.The South of Jiangsu is mainly in the primary sustainable stage and the basic sustainable stage;the Middle of Jiangsu is mainly in the critical sustainable and preliminary sustainable stage;and the North of Jiangsu is mainly in the unsustainable stage and the critical sustainable stage.2)As for the subsystems,the level of sustainable utilization of land resources for resource subsystem has decreased from the northeast to the southwest;the environment and economy subsystems have decreased from the southwest to the northeast;and the social subsystem has decreased from the southeast to the northwest.The level of sustainable utilization of land resources in 13 cities of Jiangsu province has shown a certain imbalance,which can be divided into two major categories: one is the city with high level of economic development,but the low level of resources or environment,such as Nanjing,Suzhou and Changzhou,and the other is the typical lagging city of social economic development,such as Lianyungang,Huaian,Suqian and Yancheng.3)The coupling degree of sustainable utilization of land resources in 13 cities of Jiangsu province is high as a whole.According to the spatial distribution,the coordination degree is decreasing from the southwest to the northeast,and the coupling and coordination level of sustainable utilization of land resources in the south is higher than that in the northern region.4)From the trend of the sustainable utilization of land resources level in 13 cities of Jiangsu province,the value has been increasing from 2010 to 2015,which shows that the sustainable level of land resources utilization in all cities has been greatly improved.
