Study On The Flora Of Seed Plants In Jiangxi Laohunao Nature Reserve

The Laohunao Natural Reserve,a natural reserve with a high forest coverage rate for 96% locates at Yushan Mountains which connects to Wuyishan Mountains in the east and Luoxiaoshan Mountains in the west,is seated in Le'an,Fuzhou,the central of Jiangxi Province.The reserve is at 115°51?-116°03?East longitude and 26°58?-27°17?North latitude with a gross area of 220km2 and a core area of 75km2.After a wild investigation,a collection and an identification of seed plants in the Laohunao Nature Reserve,the compilation of the Checklist of Seed Plants in Laohunao Nature Reserve was prepared.According to the list,the wild seed plants are analyzed by three levels as families,genera and species,and they are compared by the R/T value,the cluster analysis and the common component similarity coefficient.There are the main results:(1)There is a rich variety of species.There are 171 families,711 genera and 1693 species of seed plants in the Laohunao Natural Reserve as 75%,53.38% and 41.12% persent of seed plants in the whole Jiangxi.There are 8 families,43 genera,87 species of cultivated plants,163 families,668 genera,and 1606 species of wild seed plants among them.And they also contains 16 species,14 genera of 8 families of gymnosperms and 1677 species,697 genera of 163 families of angiosperms.(2)There is a rich variety of floras distribution pattern.The total 163 families of wild seed plants in the Laohunao Natural Reserve could be divided into 10 types and 8 variants.There are 668 genera of wild seed plants,which can be divided into 14 types and 15 variants,as while as there are 1606 species which can be divided into 14 types and 2 variants.(3)There is an ancient origin of the floras.There are a lot of ancient floras in the reserve including gymnosperms such as junipers and Taxus chinensis var mairei and original angiosperms such as Camphoraceae,hamamelis,ranunculaceae,magnoliaceae.And there are lots of monotype genera with relict quality.(4)Floras have transitivity.Their features are known for the transiting from tropics to temperate zones,and the contents of temperate zone and tropics are intersection or osmosis,known from the contents of the two areas in families,genera and species in this region.(5)There possesses a rich kind of specific categories.It contains 15 Chinese endemic genera and 666 Chinese endemic species.It also contains 4 endemic species of Jiangxi.(6)There are plenty of rare and endangered plant species.There are 13 the national key protected plants species and 91 provincial key protected plants species.15 species of plants have been written into IUCN Red List of Threatened Species as while as the number in Chinese Red List of Threatened Species is 51.(7)The Laohunao Natural Reserve has a great similarity and high affinity with other reserves located in the Wuyishan Mountains as the Matoushan,the Yangjifeng,the Tongboshan and the Ganjiangyuan after compared with the floras in those reserves.It shows that the Laohunao Natural Reserve should be a branch of many branches of floras of the Wuyishan Mountains.And it is also the ecological channel linking Wuyishan Mountains and Luoxiaoshan Mountains.(8)The floristic characteristics are in line with the typical characteristics of the midsubtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest,suggesting that the vegetation in the protected area of the Laohunao Nature Reserve is well protected and has a zonality.In the end,there are some suggestions for the Laohunao Natural Reserve according to the results of the floras.
