Tongledashan Nature Reserve (TNR) is situated in the southwest of Guangdong Province, extending from N22°57'48 "to 23°9'45 ", E111°37'10 " to 111°43'12 ",with a total area of 7453 hm2. The highest elevation of TNR is 814 m, which show a low-hilly landscape. The main forest type of this reserve is south subtropical broad-leaved evergreen forest, and there also exist warm coniferous forest, warm bamboo forest, south subtropical broad-leaved evergreen shrub, herb etc. The dominate families of the evergreen broad-leaved forest includes Lauraceae, Moraceae, Fagaceae, Myrtaceae, Elaeocarpaceae, Hamamelidaceae. From 2006 to 2007, the author had investigated outdoors TNR on several occasions and collected plant specimens with related literature, and compiled the plant name list of TNR. Based on this, the flora of seed plants of TNR was systematically studied and analysis. The result can be created for the protection of TNR, construction, management measures, rational development and use of the plant resources to provide a scientific basis.According to the survey, there are 1002 species of wild seed plants in TNR, which belong to 149 families and 542 genera in TNR (including cultivated plants, there are 159 families,626 genera and 1139 species of seed plants). Among them there are 3 families,3 genera,4 species, in Gymnospermeae; 146 families,539 genera,998 species, in Angiospermae. There are 16 species of rare and endangered plants, occupy 14.95%to 107 species of rare and endangered wild plants in Guangdong, such as Tsoongiodendron odorum, Glycine soja, Morinda officinali.Through using diversity analysis of species composition, areal-types of statistical analysis and endemic phenomenon analysis, this paper researched and analyzed the feature of the flora of TNR, composition, endemic phenomenon and geographical linkage on the flora of family, genus, species of three levels. The study proved that the floristic characteristic of LNR is south subtropics to northern fringe tropics. In flora composition, there are rich tropical distribution component, particularly pan-tropical elements, the old world tropical elements and tropical Asia elements, and less temperate components. In addition, north temperate components make up main composition of the temperate component. Although no endemic family distribution in TNR, but there are 6 Chinese endemic genera, occupy 12.50% to total endemic genera of Guangdong Province, accounting for 2.67% of the total Chinese endemic genera. In order to better grasp the flora features and characteristics of TNR, in particular the distribution of 255 Chinese endemic species were further classified analysis. Compared with its adjacent regions by using the similarity coefficient, this area shows the higher homogeneity in the floristic elements among Longhushan Nature Reserve, Guangxi and Heishiding Nature Reserve, Guangdong, while the result shows the less similarity between this area and Wulingyuan, Hunan.
