Tongboshan National Nature Reserve is situated in the south of Guangfeng county,Jiangxi province, with a total area of10800hm2, core area4100hm2, cushion area2210hm2and experimental area4490hm2. Extending from N28°0339" to28°1045",E118°1142" to118°2147". It is located in the northernmost part of the Wuyishanmountain range, belonging to the southeast central Asian tropical eastern Eurasia.In2012, I conducted many comprehensive seed plants investigations of theTongboshan National Nature Reserve and collected more than6000specimen. After thespecimen identification, I made a cataloging of species diversity and then analyzed theflora from there aspects: families, genera, and species. By comparing the genera flora ofseed plant with14areas and the protected areas around in the way of analyzing mainingredients and clustering, ultimately, the feature of floristic area was discovered asfollowing:1. Diverse plant species. There exist2169species of seed plants in TongboshanNational Nature Reserve, which belongs to174families and838genera. While163families,760genera and1972species of wild seed plants,5families,9genera and11species of the Gymnospermae,158families,751genera and1961species of theAngiospermae are included.2. Varied Floristic composition. Among of the10areal types of family floristic,15areal types of genera were all representatives, and faunal distribution area type is richwhich contains most types of plants in the Chinese flora.3. Ancient origin of plants. It formed in the third century dating back to the late EarlyCretaceous, matured in the late third century, perfected in the Quaternary, now it is still inthe differentiation and development.4. Clearly transition. The flora, with the properties of system components betweenNorth and South region and mutual penetration is a transition area from central subtropicsto north subtropics in China.5. Multiple special elements. There are17genuses of Chinese endemic genera,3endemic species to Jiangxi, a total of801Chinese endemic species.According to the analysis results of the flora in the reserve and the study of rare andendangered plants, I believe that the protection of the reserve has the extremely highvalue, which embodied in the following aspects:1. Unique location. It located in "Y" shaped intersection of the north of WuyiMountains, Xianxia Ling and Huaiyu mountain, where the biodiversity convergenceeffect and the island edge effect is outstanding, and species diversity is extremely rich. 2. Rich in rare and endangered plants. The species which included in the "Red List"(IUCN2012) was14; included in the "Chinese species red list"(Volume1)(CSRL,2004)and "China plant red data book"(1) was a total of79; in the "endangered species of WildFauna and Flora International Trade Convention"(CITES,2007) list were42. Meanwhile, there are17species of national key protected wild plants in protected areas, including2species of first class national protection,15species of second class and109species underprovincial protection,41,17,52protection species respectively focus on provincial level, leverⅡand lever Ⅲ.3. Well-preserved typical northern subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forestecosystem. The reserve is rich in natural subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest, whichis an important part in subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest ecosystem in China.4. The biological species gene pool and biological corridor in east China. Finally, based on the results of this study, I put forward some reasonable suggestionsin view of the protection and management of Tongboshan Nature Reserve, Such asdetermination of the objective, monitoring of plant resources, further in-depth study and soon.
