The genus Copidosoma Ratzeburg,1844,belonging to the tribe Copidosomatini of the subfamily Encyrtinae,is a cosmopolitan genus and currently contains 206 valid species worldwide(Noyes,2017).Copidosoma can effectively control vast of pests and it can be widely used in pest control around the world. All the species of this genus are parasitic on the larva of Lepidoptera.Species of this genus have the potential to be used as natural enemies of lepidopteran pests. It is necessary to understand the classification and biological knowledge and then to study the application in pest control. The study is based on the widely accepted Classicication system in the world. The examination of the specimens are collected by the methods of host rearing, sweeping, yellow pan trapping, and Malaise trapping.A systematic study of fifteen Chinese species of the genus Copidosoma was present in this paper including six new species,C.heinitane sp.nov.,C.jiangxiensis,sp.nov.,C.linzhiensis sp.nov.,C.longchuane sp.nov.,C.simaoensis,sp.nov.,C.yongdeensis sp.nov.and five country new record species,C.aithyia Walker,C.longiclavatum Kazmi&Hayat,C.oreinos Kazmi&Hayat,C.recurvariae Sharkov and C.thebe Walker.Domestic new distributional data for four species were also recorded.A key to all the known Chinese species of the genus Copidosoma was provided, detailed diagnosis, literatures, photos of species, hosts and distributional data of all the species were also given. All the specimens were deposited at the Insect Collections of Northeast Forestry University.
