Taxonomic Studies On Chinese Species Of Ooencyrtus(Hymenoptera:Encyrtidae)

In this paper,systematic studies on the genus Ooencyrtus were dealt based on the specimens deposited in insect collections of Northeast Forestry University,and the specimens collected by myself during the study;The collection includes more than 20 provinces and cities including Chongqing,Tibet and Shandong.In order to respect nature and protect the environment,we should promote biological control of pests in forestry.;The genus Ooencyrtus is a parasitic wasp and plays an important role in biological control.The paper introduced the research situation of the genus Ooencyrtus and the method of making and collection of specimens.A total of sixteen species of Ooencyrtus were recorded,including six new species and three newly recorded species.Morphological characteristics,together with photographs,distributional data and known hosts were provided in detail,and also a key to all the known Chinese species of Ooencyrtus was given.This study is a systematic investigation of the genus Ooencyrtus in China,and it has enriched the Chinese fauna of Ooencyrtus species,and also has provided the basic knowledge of biological control of agricultural and forest pests.All the type specimens of this study were deposited in Northeast Forestry University.
