Land resources carrying capacity is a scientific concept and tool for measuring the interrelationship between human social economic activities and land resources,and is the basis for the scientific preparation and implementation of land planning.With the rapid development of new industrialization,urbanization and agricultural modernization in China,the land spatial development pattern needs to be further optimized.Based on the land resources carrying capacity,it is applied to the study of land spatial development,and provides new ideas for the optimization of land spatial development pattern from the perspective of rational development and utilization of land resources.Furthermore,the continuous improvement of the evaluation theories and methods of land resources carrying capacity also provides a decision-making basis for the study of the optimization of land spatial development pattern.This paper takes Yanbian Korean as the study area.Based on DPSIR model,the comprehensive evaluation index system of land resources carrying capacity in Yanbian Korean is constructed.With the township as the evaluation unit,land resources carrying capacity in each township of Yanbian Korean is assessed by using the projection pursuit model optimized by particle swarm optimization.According to the evaluation results,the land resources carrying capacity in Yanbian Korean is graded to determine the level of land resources carrying capacity in each region.It is necessary to establish a monitoring and warning mechanism of land resources carrying capacity in Yanbian Korean,clarify the alertness of land resources carrying capacity in each region,and provide the foundation and guarantee for the rational land spatial development and utilization,and promote the sustainable development of land resources in Yanbian Korean.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the DPSIR model,a comprehensive evaluation index system of land resources carrying capacity is constructed.The projection pursuit model optimized by particle swarm optimization is used in the evaluation process to avoid determining the subjectivity of weights.It is applicable to the comprehensive evaluation of land resources carrying capacity of abundant data,multiple levels,and multiple indicators;(2)Based on ArcGIS software platform,the evaluation results are divided into three grades(including relatively high grade,relatively medium grade,and relatively low grade)by using the natural breaks method.The overall spatial distribution of the land resources carrying capacity in Yanbian Korean is low in the middle,and the ratio of the relative medium grade area is 41.28%,while the ratio of the relatively low grade area is only 29.27%.The ranking of the land resources carrying capacity of each county is as follows: Hunchun city > Dunhua city > Longjing city > Helong city > Wangqing county > Yanji city > Antu county > Tumen city.The land resources carrying capacity in Hunchun city is highest mainly due to the fact that Hunchun city has good ecological environment,large cultivated land resources,high food production capacity,and high demand for construction land for social and economic development.The main reason of the lowest land resources carrying capacity in Tumen city is that more than 80% of Tumen city is located in the geological disaster prone area,and it has small per capita cultivated land resources,low food security coefficient,and relatively underdeveloped economic development;(3)Based on SPSS software platform,Using cluster analysis method to divide the warning of land resources carrying capacity in Yanbian Korean into five grades: no warning,mild warning,moderate warning,heavy warning and severe warning.The direction and emphases of monitoring and warning of land spatial development in various police areas are clarified.Monitoring and warning construction land intensive use and dynamic change of mild warning area,quality of cultivated land and dynamic change of moderate warning area,construction land and cultivated dynamic change and construction land intensive use and quality of cultivated land of heavy warning area,the status of construction land,cultivated land,ecological environment and geological disaster prone areas of severe warning area in Yanbian Korean.
