With the promotion of "The Belt and Road" strategy, logistics,as a new economic growth point in twenty-first Century and a pillar industry of the national economy, plays an important role in economic development. The new Eurasian Continental Bridge is an important node in the "The Belt and Road" strategy.Relying on the transportation infrastructure and the central city along the line,it optimizes the distribution of trade and resources, which promotes the orderly flow of logistics, human flow and business flowand promotes the rapid development of the logistics industry along the continental bridge. However, there are also a series of problems accompanied by the rapid development of the logistics industry, such as unbalance of logistics in the areas along the line,non-uniform standards between industries and unimpeded logistics information. Therefore, how to "improve the total factor production rate" has become the concern of the logistics industry.Based on the two angles of total factor productivity and regional heterogeneity in the logistics industry, this paper uses the DEA-Malmquist index method to calculate the total factor productivity changes in 11 provinces along the new Eurasian Continental Bridge from2003 to 2016 and decomposes the total factor productivity growth rate index into technological progress index, technical efficiency index and return of scale. The results show that the technological progress from 2003 to 2016 decreased by 8% and the technical efficiency decreased by 0.1%.This indicates that the deterioration of the total factor productivity in the logistics industry is mainly due to the decline of technological progress. Then, through multiple regression analysis of 154 panel data of 11 provinces(cities)the reasons leading to low efficiency of logistics in all provinces(cities)are explained. Finally, some suggestions are put forward, such as strengthening policy guidance and optimizing industrial structure, widening regional cooperation and sharing logistics resources, paying attention to technological innovation and realizing industrial upgrading, building a logistics intermodal passage and creating collaborative logistics.
