Research Of Total Factor Productivity And Its Influencing Factors Of Fujian Manufacturing Industry

Manufacturing industry is the pillar industry of the national economy,which plays an important role in the development of national economy.Fujian Province,as a rapid economic development in coastal provinces,its manufacturing industry also occupies an important position.With the development of technology and industrialization and the promulgation of<the implementation of Fujian Province in China manufacturing' action plan 2025>,the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry in Fujian province has aroused wide concern.And total factor productivity plays an important role in the manufacturing industrial reforming promotion.Therefore,this paper makes an empirical study of the manufacturing industry in Fujian Province in order to analyze the change of the total factor productivity and its impact mechanism.This paper firstly analyzes the development trend,current situation and problems of manufacturing industry in Fujian province.On this basis,the total factor productivity of manufacturing industry in Fujian province in 2005-2014 was calculated by the method of DEA-Malmquist.Using the method of dynamic and static,respectively from the 29 sectors of the manufacturing industry,manufacturing industry overall,use and property and technical to analyze the total factor productivity,meanwhile,analyze the rate of technological progress and technical efficiency further.Then the contribution of total factor productivity growth in manufacturing industry in Fujian province is studied.Finally,the influence mechanism of the total factor productivity and its decomposition items of manufacturing industry in Fujian province is analyzed by the grey relational analysis method.The conclusions of the paper:Firstly,the total factor productivity of manufacturing industry in Fujian province showed a growth trend,the large increase in growth is the mechanical and electronic manufacturing,TFP growth is mainly driven by the rate of technological progress,and the slower improvement of technical efficiency is mainly caused by the pure technical efficiency decline;Secondly,the rapid growth of the total factor productivity of mechanical and electronic manufacturing industry is better than the textile industry and the resource processing industry,and high technology manufacturing industry is better than middle and low technology industry;Thirdly,the total factor productivity of manufacturing industry's contribution is not high on the manufacturing industry,significantly less than the contribution of capital and labor;Fourth,the human resources quality and property right structure greatly promoted the improvement of technical efficiency,and investment in science and overseas trade,the human resources quality and the government have a larger influence on the rate increase of technological progress,at the same time,these factors are also promote the development of total factor productivity.Considering these conclusions,this paper puts forward corresponding suggestions:Firstly,increase the government'support;Secondly,deepen the reform of ownership;Thirdly,increase the investment in science;Fourth,adhere to the opening up;Fifth,improve the human resources.
