The essence of cross-cultural project communication is to effectively communicate project information by coordinating project members from different countries with different cultural backgrounds,which is a situational application of project communication management.However,few cross-cultural project teams in enterprises who provides customized security product for customers in Indian market can effectively coordinate project communication due to the differences in project members' different cultural backgrounds and project management levels.This kind of inefficient and even ineffective project communication has brought huge difficulties to the development of enterprises in the Indian market,and to some extent hindered the overall development scale of enterprises.To find out communication problems of sino-india project team in M company,the author makes analysis upon questionnaires survey about the cause of the cross-cultural communication problems,and give suggestions in consideration of project communication theory and the characteristics of the security industry,hope the specific problems related to project communication plan,management and monitoring can provides the basis for cross-cultural communication project management for other security enterprises when they enter India market,and help them regulate communication process,improve communication efficiency.First of all,the author makes overall analysis of the project deliverables,project schedule and project cost of over 400 cross-culture projects initiated in M company in the past three years,it is pointed out that the project management level of sino-india project needs to be improved immediately.Secondly,about 80%of project problems are related to ineffective project communication according to the internal statistics in M company.Therefore,in.view of the problems existing in the sino-india project and project communication management theory,the author has designed a questionnaire and did investigation within the sino-india project teams.The author finds that insufficient demand analysis,unclear project communication plan,ineffective project communication management,and unbinding project communication monitoring etc.four aspects exist in the sino-india project in M company upon the survey results.Thus,the author gives practical suggestions for improvement based the root causes behind the problems.This paper comes to the conclusion that the security enterprises who are developing the Indian market need to select the appropriate project communication management mode as well as consideration of the characteristics of sino-indian project to improve the level of project communication management.These enterprises need not only to ensure the effective implementation of the project communication' planning/management/monitoring,but also to find appropriate solutions for the conflicts caused by the cross-regional and cross-cultural differences between Chinese and Indian project teams.Only in this way can more research samples be provided for cross-cultural project communication management while improving project communication efficiency and promoting project success.
