An Analysis On Export Structure And Trade Efficiency Of China's Manufactured Goods Based On Technical Level

In recent years,China's total exports of manufactured goods have reached new highs.In 2015,China became the world's largest exporter of manufactured goods,with a total export value of 21551 billion dollars.However,the absolute advantage of the export scale does not mean that China has entered the world trade power.Constantly optimizing the technical structure of export of manufactured goods and improving the efficiency of export of manufactured goods is the prerequisite for sustained and steady growth of export of manufactured goods.Optimizing the technical structure of export of manufactured goods and improving the efficiency of export of manufactured goods are not unrelated and independent.The optimization of technical structure will inevitably bring about the improvement of the efficiency of export trade and the improvement of trade efficiency will also promote the optimization of technical structure.In the analysis of the export of manufactured goods,the combination of technical structure and trade efficiency is particularly critical.Firstly,this paper analyzes the economic theory at home and abroad in the relevant literatures on the technology structure and export trade efficiency;then,it uses SITC Rev.3 four bit encoding of manufactured goods export data,calculates the TC index and PRODY index in 2001? 2007 and 2015 respectively,Classifies the export industrial manufactured goods by means of relative value segmentation method,takes the rough set theory into the model,combines 6 classification results and has the export structure of manufactured goods of Chinese.Finally,this paper uses stochastic frontier gravity model and trade efficiency model to explore the main factors that influence the export structure and trade efficiency of China's industrial manufactured goods,and accordingly provides corresponding policy recommendations.The results show that: The technical structure of China's manufactured goods export is continuously optimized;low and medium tech exports of industrial products occupy an absolute advantage;the export share of high-tech industrial products is relatively low and grows slowly.The technical structure of China's export of manufactured goods has a certain gap with the trading power.In addition,the trade efficiency model results show that the increase in China R & D spending will improve the exports of manufactured goods especially high technology manufactured goods export and import levels in efficiency,city and rural development and the efficiency of export of manufactured goods China showed inverse proportion.Accordingly,this paper suggests that China should actively seek large-scale new markets and strengthen cooperation with neighboring countries in order to reduce trade costs and improve the export efficiency of manufactured goods of various technical structures.In addition,China should plan to increase R & D investment which can improve the quality of export products and actively investigate the trading nation market in order to avoid the strong competition between China's industrial manufactured goods and the importing countries.
