| With the development of international economic integration,trade exchanges between countries become more and more closed,manufactured goods have also become a major product of a country's export trade,occupying an important proportion in international trade.The export technology of manufactured goods can reflect a country's economic level and overall strength in a certain level,so many scholars began to study the export technology of manufactured goods,and use the complexity of export technology to measure the export technology level of manufactured goods.In order to study the level of China's manufactured goods export technology,find out the influencing factors of China's manufactured goods export technology,and improve the level of China's manufactured goods export technology,this paper explores on the basis of export technology complexity.Firstly,this paper draws lessons from Haussmann(2005)export technology complexity index,which clearly shows the domestic technology content index of China's manufacturing exports under the new world economic background.The export technical complexity of manufactured goods from 31 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government in China from 2002 to 2016 is calculated by using the export data of 21 major industries in China from the Yearbook of China's Industrial Economy Statistics compiled by the National Bureau of Statistics.Conduct empirical tests.The results show that under the impact of the economic crisis,the technical complexity of China's export products shows a fluctuating trend,but the overall trend is rising.Through the research and analysis of existing literature,based on real and objective data,this paper studies the current situation and existing problems of China's export structure of manufacturing products,and then analyzes that China's export structure of manufactured goods has not yet reached the level of optimization.Secondly,this paper theoretically analyzes the mechanism of these factors,such as openness,human capital,foreign direct investment,economic development level,R&D investment level and technological endowment,affecting the export structure optimization of China's manufactured goods;on this basis,the system generalized moment(System GMM)estimation method is used to study the above factors.The role of China's export technology structure of manufactured goods.The study finds that human capital,FDI and economic development level have a significant role in promoting the complexity of export technology.At the same time,the empirical tests in different regions show that tradedependence and R&D investment level have significant effects on the export technology complexity,and technology endowment has inhibitory effects on the increase of export technology complexity in the eastern region.Trade dependence has a significant role in promoting the complexity of export technology,while technology endowment and R&D input level have an inhibitory effect on the complexity of export technology in the central region.Technological endowment,openness to the outside world and R&D input level have a negative impact on improving the export technology complexity of the western region.Finally,in order to realize the steady growth of the export trade of manufactured goods under the existing mode,it is necessary to encourage the upgrading of the technical structure of China's export products.1.While avoiding the negative effects of FDI technology spillovers,we should make full use of FDI technology spillovers to improve China's EXTEC index and enhance the export competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry;2.We should further open up to provide a healthier and more equitable competitive environment for enterprises,lower the entry threshold of manufacturing industry,and give manufacturing industry a competitive edge.Enterprises provide more opportunities for development;3.Actively promote technological progress and strive to optimize the structure of elements;4.Strengthen personnel training,enhance the overall quality of personnel,focusing on the cultivation of talent innovation ability;5.Increase investment in research and development;improve the independent innovation ability of local enterprises. |
