It is known as the performance assessment that the enterprise makes a value judgment of the work performance and effect for the staff's production and business operation process to achieve the scheduled goal using specific criteria and adopting the scientific method.Performance assessment is an important content of modern enterprise human resources management which is reasonable to evaluate employee's job performance,enhances the level of work and promotes enterprise healthy and steady development.As the study object of the paper,the Sinolion Investment Holding co.,LTD.is a diversified corporation involving real estate,auto parts and logistics,which is founded in 1990 and has a highly representative for the performance assessment research within the Qinhuangdao district.Based on the research of the company staff's performance assessment system,finds out the problems and puts forward the corresponding suggestions for improvement,so as to provide the beneficial reference for the performance assessment of the firm.First of all,this paper takes an overview for the research background and significance in the performance assessment,explains the current research status from different perspective of scholars at home and abroad,and introduces the research content and method.Secondly,the paper introduces the concept of performance assessment,expounds the content and function of performance assessment,analyzes the difference between the performance assessment and the traditional evaluation,describes the general flow of performance assessment in detail,introduces some of the common approaches of the performance assessment,and sets a foundation for the further performance assessment of the Sinolion Investment Holding co.,LTD.Thirdly,the paper outlines the basic situation of Sinolion Investment Holding co.,LTD.,analyzes the company's performance assessment system,finds out the existing problems,and adopts the target management and the 360 degree assessment method to improve the company's performance assessment system.Finally,some of the examples are cited to show the staff's performance assessment process after the performance improvement.The paper analyzes the guarantee measures for the performance assessment system,puts forward a suggestion to the implementation process to ensure the smooth operation of the new system.
