In the 1980s, reform and opening up in Chinese coastal areas widen corporate managers' vision and ideas. Diversification has become one of the strategies to the large enterprise to achieve further expansion generally. Western countries and China have appeared in a diversified business boom. The essence of diversification is sharing resources and the risk of dispersion. The purpose is to allow enterprises improve resource utilization and turnover rate under the limited resources,amortize the business costs, and enhance the overall strength of enterprises.With the rapid development of Tianjin Port, in order to become a first-class port, it is necessary to Company T to improve its own service functions as a terminal company,for the corresponding supporting the construction needs of the storage area. Company T cooperated with a number of domestic and international petrochemical enterprises and established several petrochemical storage companies in 1990s around the terminals.These petrochemical enterprises involve oil and chemical industry which are related to the Company T's business.Company T's diversified companies are already completed, and how to operate and manage their investment diversification, standardize enterprise behavior, improve investment efficiency, improve the investment management system, it is a need to continue to improve, discuss issues and work.The petrochemical storage companies which invested by Company T have been operating for nearly 20 years. In recent years, some of them operating conditions are poor, and have affected the Company T's total profits. In the future, how to operate and manage the diversified companies, regulate the of investment behavior, improve investment efficiency and management system, need to continue discussing, improving and working. Based on the current specific situation, such as national and regional strategic environment changes, the development of transformation, the new market needs, Company T should also change the strategic management with the situation changing to seek sustainable development directions and solutions.This paper will take diversified enterprise management of Company T as the starting point, using the SWOT model and the Potter five forces analysis, analysis of the diversified situation of enterprise management, internal and external environment change research to explore the competition in the port around increasing operating pressure, gradually increase the situation, combined with the company's actual situation,the transformation and upgrading of diversification strategy and corporate governance thinking of Company T.This research analysis the diversification strategy management status of Company T by using the SWOT model and Michael Porter five forces model and other analysis methods. It also research the diversification strategy transformation and upgrading with the internal and external environment changes of the growing competition in the surrounding port and operating pressure gradually increased, combined with the company's own reality. Company T should improve the terminal loading and unloading ability,extend the main business chain,try the pipeline transportation industry,carry out the logistics and financial business, upgrade diversified strategy structure. Through these multi-methods, Company T can reach the transformation. The innovation of organizational structure and technology, personnel training, strengthen cooperation and other ways protect the multi diversification strategy transformation.
