The 21st century is the era of knowledge economy, the essence of competition between companies is the talent competition, human resources become the company's most valuable resources. The core of human resource management is precisely performance management. Performance management since the 20th century, 90 years into China,although some of the outstanding domestic companies to promote production, performance efficiency, but most of the company's implementation is not satisfactory. Mainly to performance management is equivalent to performance appraisal,performance management deviation from strategic objectives, performance indicators are not comprehensive, performance improvement mechanism similar to the virtual and so on. In the end, the performance management shape is larger than the real, ineffective, urgent need for further research analysis and improvement.This thesis takes the performance management of FAW Haima Automotive Co., LTD as the research object, and uses the theories of Key Performance Indicator (KPI), Balanced Score Card (BSC), Management by Objectives (MBO), comprehensive assessment method(360 degree) and so on. Combined with the status of performance management, research problems, optimize the performance management system of the Haima Automotive, so that the system,complete,to adapt to the development needs of the company.The author combines the years of performance management work experience with the basic theory of performance management, and uses the method of interview to find out that the core purpose of the Haima Automotive performance management is not clear, and the performance index setting is out of line with the strategy implementation. Set up random,incomplete, behavior assessment single, lack of performance counseling communication and supervision mechanisms and other issues.Then, aiming at the above problems, the author carry out countermeasures research,put forward the optimal design scheme. The new program is composed of two major mechanisms: performance plan formulation, performance appraisal evaluation,performance result application and performance guidance communication, performance operation supervision, and a complete application form for each part and mechanism to help new performance Management system landing. To ensure that the Haima Automotive performance management system into the right track, healthy and effective operation.
