Research On The Core Connotation Of "smart City"

"Smart City" is the current hot topic of urban construction.More cities are joining in the wave increasingly since IBM proposed the idea firstly in."Smart City" is based on the achievements of urban information technology and the rapid development of information and communication technology.It can solve different types of urban problems.After nearly a decade of development,the tide of "Smart City" has become a global appearance,which was accepted as a new vision all over the world.This paper was divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.Why we needed to study this subject,how was the present situation in this field at home and abroad,and what marvelous way of research has been taken were included in the first part.The text included three main parts.Taken altogether,the development of "Smart City" has been sorted out and the universality of the "Smart City" has been found throughout all the complicated views.That was the core connotation of "Smart City".Then from the perspective of urban theory analysis and interpretation,we hoped to throw out some meaningful suggestions and directions.The first part of the text made a systematic historical analysis of the construction of the "Smart City" and elaborated the core connotation of "Smart City" were capacity,govern,connection and service.After that,expatiated its reasons,ways and significances.The second part esummarized the frame system in China and the frame system of Shanghai,used the theory of fuzzy set analysis to analyse the key direction and the existence question of Smart city.The third part was how to put the theory into practice.We used the city Shanghai as a model to analyze.Based on the conclusion and the situation of Shanghai,advises were put out.The research of "Smart City" was supposed to be a multi-disciplinary,multi-angle and multi-level study.The research of "Smart City" was lack of the intervention of city theorists and city historians.I hoped the research would provide more thinking of "Smart City".
