Study On Operating Mode Of Smart Tourism In The Smart City Framework

As the development of information technology, the concepts of smart planet andsmart city have been recognized widely. Recent years, as the product of moderntourism and the new generation of IT, the smart tourism which will be the futuretendency has been given great attention and is developing rapidly. Smart tourism isthe requirement of tourism industry upgrade and it will satisfy the experiencerequirement of tourists. In China, many cities have started to construct smart tourismprojects, however, there is no deep research on operating mode about smart tourism, itis significant to analyze and study the following operating questions after constructionto promote the long-term and sustainable development of smart tourism.Based on the above understanding, after reading lots of literature and conductingpractice research, this paper first elaborate relevant concepts and key technologies ofsmart tourism, then it comb the development and research status to provideexperience to smart tourism operation. Secondly, this paper analyzes the social andeconomy value of smart tourism operation and provides four service principals. Thepaper divides the smart tourism into three parts which includes primary stage, maturestage and integrating development stage based on longitudinal time standard, it alsoclassifies smart tourism according to object-oriented and project properties tofacilitate the follow-up discussions.Then, this paper proposes to construct operations support system for smarttourism which includes the organization and management mechanism, IT supportmechanism, pilot and demonstration projects drive mechanism, co-operationmechanism, professional team-building mechanism and standards and performanceevaluation mechanism to promote the healthful and sustainable development of smarttourism effectively. According to the actual situation of smart tourism and the operation of smart city,this paper proposes that smart tourism’s operation could adopt autonomous operationmode and joint operating mode. The autonomous operation mode includesgovernment investment and government operations mode which is also called “G+Gmode” and business investment and business operations mode which is also called“B+B mode”. The joint operating mode includes four specific modes, governmentfunding, business franchise mode, government-led, set up a special operating agencymode, government investment, business outsourcing mode and government andcorporate joint investment and operating mode. Besides, this paper provides two othermodes worthing thinking,which is community operating mode and industryassociations mode. Different modes have different features and their scope is alsodiverse, the operation of smart tourism should analyze specific issues according todifferent object and projects to decide adopt which mode.
