A Comparative Study On The International Competitiveness Of China And South Korea's Service Industry

Since the 20 th Century,along with the adjustment of world economic structure,the deepening of economic globalization,the focus of global economic competition is shifting mainly service industry from the first and second industries to be the tertiary industry.The continuous development of the service industry has gradually become the driving force of the economic development of developing countries.This is an opportunity for developing countries to grasp a new round of international industrial transfer and use their own comparative advantages to be one of economy development’s strategic choices.This thesis has studied the analysis of international competitiveness between China and Korea.Firstly,introduce the concept of service industry,trade in services and related theories.On this basis will use service economics overview the development situation of China and Korea’s service industry and its Characteristics.Secondly,use the competitiveness index to describe international competitiveness of China and Korea’s major service sectors.Finally,refer to the result of above analysis to give the corresponding suggestions for developing China’s service industry.First suggestion is China should promote the development of the service industry from the overall and major service sectors.Second suggestion is should strengthen the cooperation of FTA and One Belt One Road strategy between China and Korea,promote the development of China’s service industry and enhance the strength of economic development.
