| Since the reform and opening,China’s rapid development has created a large number of excellent construction enterprises in practice.On one hand,solid technical foundation for them to go abroad provided powerful support;On the other hand,there are still many nations which are in poor infrastructures,and those companies are requested to improve their unoptimistic situation.Therefore,the ’going out’ of Chinese construction enterprises has become an inevitable trend.In addition,the implementation of the ’going out’ strategy and the ’the belt and road initiative’ strategy accelerated this trend.However,the large batch of construction enterprises ’going out’ also increased the competition in overseas market,breeding many new problems.Among them,the shortage of talents for overseas projects restricts the process of enterprise’internationalization,and problems of staff turnover are perplexing the international engineering contractors and project managers.In the past,the study towards problems of staff turnover is mostly under the framework of enterprises’ human resource management which comes from enterprises.In view of the increasing scale of overseas projects and the objective situations of the changes of overseas project management models,this paper focus on analyzing the problems of staff turnover which occurs in the process of overseas projects managing,which takes the specific individual overseas project as the researching object.Based on the literature research,this paper starts from the current situations of C7 Company’s M project and analyzes the main factors which are affecting through the interviews of the main personnel and the questionnaire.At the same time,those factors could be concluded to the 3 aspects as organizational reasons,personal reasons and other social reasons and the relevant 6 countermeasures are given for reference.As we all know,there is much universality and similarity in overseas engineering projects.The paper aims to improve the situation of staff loss of the M project through the analysis of the present situations,the causes and countermeasures and offers references for international engineering contractors to manage the staff and reduce the loss of staff in the overseas projects. |
