Small enterprise business is an important business section of China's commercial banks and is considered as a strategic business by China Construction Bank.The development of small business not only is in line with the requirements of the Party Central Committee and the strategic orientation of the party and the state,but is also an objective necessity to deal with the changing markets and customers.Moreover,it is an important aspect of the strategic transformation of China Construction Bank and a realistic choice to deal with the challenges posed by the same industry and to grasp profit growth point.In the market situation in which small enterprise credit products are severely homogenized,the competitiveness of small businesses mainly lies in the efficiency of their business processes and the benefits they can reap.Therefore,highquality business processes are of vital importance to the operation of small businesses.Based on the theories of Management and Finance,this thesis investigates the problems in the small enterprise credit business process in the SY branch of China Construction Bank,proposes the reengineering theory of the credit business process of small business,verifies the practical effects of the reengineering of the small enterprise credit business process in the SY branch through practical cases,and summarizes the experiences of the reengineering of the small enterprise credit business process in the SY branch.Firstly,the thesis surveys the related theories of the reengineering of processes and reviews the existing literature according to the principle of business process reengineering theory,credit business process reengineering theory and value chain theory.This thesis proposes the construction of a reengineering framework for small enterprise credit business process based on the value chain,which lays a theoretical foundation for the analysis of the problems in the practice of small enterprise credit business process and of the corresponding modification schemes.Then,this thesis offers an in-depth analysis of the current situation of the small enterprise credit business process of the Construction Bank SY Branch,exploring its existing problems and the causes of these problems.Under the guidance of Process concept of Banks,this thesis analyzes the problems in the small enterprise credit business process of the China Construction Bank SY Branch.This thesis puts forward the objectives and principles of designing and reconstruction in accordance with the results of the analysis of clients' demands,thereby offering a detailed and systematic designing and reconstruction to the small enterprise credit business process before the loan,during the loan and after the loan.And by the case of the optimization of the process after a successful small business operation,the effectiveness of the reengineering of process is to be demonstrated.However,there are differences between the economic,social and cultural structures of different places.Moreover,the business environments and operation conditions of the branches of China Construction Bank are not the same;that is to say,the contradictions between the new formal regulation and old informal regulation are hard to be resolved.Thus,it remains to be verified whether the research results of the reengineering of the small enterprise credit process can be transplanted to other branches.
