Estimation Of Coordination Between Urbanization And Agricultural Modernization In Hubei Province

After the reforn and opening up,China's urbanization and agricultural modernization(hereinafter referred to as the "two missions")have developed rapidly,and they have been played an important role in China's Economic and social development.But whether the "two missions" achieve a coordinated development is a hot issue that are of great concern to the government,society and theorists.If the urbanization lags behind the agricultural modernization,urbanization can't be realized to promote the development of rural economy,urbanization is difficult to become a new engine of economic growth;if agricultural modernization lags behind urbanization,urbanization loses its solid foundation to support its development,"Three rural issues" will also be difficult to crack.Which will be had a very negative impact on China's economic.Therefore,it is of great significance to measure the coordination degree of "two missions",take appropriate policies and measures.Based on the previous research,this paper takes the coupling coordination of "two mission" in Hubei Province as the research object.Firstly,we construct an evaluation index system of the urbanization and agricultural modernization,and use the entropy method to measure the comprehensive development level of the "two missions" in Hubei Province,the provincial regional city circle and 16 cities of Hubei Province;Secondly,through the establishment of the coupled coordination degree model to calculate the coupling coordination of "two missions" of Hubei Province,the provincial regional city circle and its 16 cities,and has comprehensively shown the coordinated development of the "two missions"in Hubei Province.Finally,through the development experience of the United States,Japan and Shandong,Henan which are two agricultural provinces in China,we put forward some policy suggestions to promote the coordinated development of the two tasks in Hubei Province further,and provide reference for the relevant government departments to formulate relevant policies.This paper draws the following main conclusions:First,the development of Hubei Province is uncoordinated,agricultural modernization seriously lagged behind the urbanization;Second,the coordinated development level of the regional urban areas of Hubei Province has tend to be benign simultaneous development,they are from a high degree of development to the verbal;Third,the coordinated development of the cities in Hubei Province are mostly on the brink of coordination,while Enshi,Huanggang and Shiyan are in a low degree of uncoordinated state.
