Research On The Development Of Chinese Overseas Economic And Trade Cooperation Zone Under Background Of The Belt And Road Initiative

Chinese overseas economic and trade cooperation zone is created by our enterprise in transnational operation, which has been the national strategy under our governments solid support and develop more fast than usual. It is different from the FDI mode by establishing branches or merger and acquisition, but is the mode by platform building to attract more and more companies to invest and cooperate as a whole colony and benefit each other eventually.It can play the role to build a platform for large number of domestic entities going out to run overseas,reducing the risk of management and benefit themselves a lot.Simultaneously, it can also fulfill the policy of going out, surplus production capacity transferring, industry structure adjustment, upgrading and transforming, so it is very popular among the state and provincial government. Especially, with The Belt and Road Initiative has been pushed forward steadily, the number of the newly-approved national foreign trade and economic cooperation zones along the region of The Belt and Road Initiative speed up greatly compared to the past. More and more provincial government release their plans to build provincial overseas economic and trade cooperation zone so as to participate In The Belt and Road Initiative. Then, many cooperation zones begin to be developed along the region of The Belt and Road Initiative as bamboo shoots spring up after rain. It has become an important node in The Belt and Road Initiative, to play an active role in the realizing the output and fusion of China's mode, opening up a new pattern of Chinese foreign investment. Cooperation zones has become an important promoter and the card to show China's new image on The Belt and Road Initiative. The author has collected a large number of relevant documentation and data for this thesis reaearch, using the methods of case study, qualitative and quantitative research and eventually, conclude the good enlightment and experience for the development of OETCZ. Besides, the author also put forward some new thoughts about the future development of OETCZ.This thesis is composed of five parts. The first part is the introduction, which mainly introduces the background and significance of theme on research, literature review on overseas trade and economic cooperation zone, the research methodology ,innovation and shortage. The second part is the the discussion of Chinese overseas economic and trade cooperation zone ,which mainly talks about the definition, classification, area distribution, the stage and characteristic presented by the cooperation zones development,the function of itself as the public platform for enterprises under The Belt and Road Initiative. The third part is to do study on the Suez OETCZ, including the development project,development mode,development achievement,findings in development and the development prospect in the future. The fourth part mainly concludes the enlightenment learned from the development of Suez OETCZ so that we can provide some beneficial experience for the other building OETCZ. The fifth part is about some thoughts on the future development of Chinese overseas economic and trade cooperation zone under The One Belt and Road Initiative, which demonstrates within the development concept,development goals and layout project three aspects in total.
