Design And Implementation Of A Web-based Laboratory Management System For Colleges And Universities

With the rapid development of network and IT technology,information technology and networking have been applied to all aspects of our lives.The network has covered all of campus,which are the place of talent training and scientific research.There are many problems in laboratory of college,such as inefficiency,backwardness and management confusion.It is urgent to use information technology to develop a friendly and functional laboratory management system to manage experimental teaching and experimental assets more conveniently.Based on the actual situation of Shandong Modern College,this paper aims to use web technology to develop a laboratory management system of colleges.With the use of advanced computer information technology and a mature campus network,applying the advanced management information systems and software development platform,and based on the functional requirements of the laboratory,we started demand analysis and designed seven functional modules,which are information management Module,user management module,experimental and teaching management module,experimental asset management module,laboratory file management module,and system security management module.In addition,we conducted a system test of the functional module.functional laboratory management system to manage experimental teaching and experimental assets more conveniently.The developmental environment of university laboratory management system based on web is WAMP,and the model is B / S.We utilize PHP technology to develop dynamic web page and the background database is Oracle's MySQL 5.5.The development of this system has changed the traditional manual management mode of laboratory management,which got out the laboratory staff from the heavy manual management and improved the laboratory teaching level and management level significantly.
