On The Flat Design That Gives The Site Users A Pleasant Experience

Todayis the era of the Internet.With the development of the global economy,the Internet technology is also developing rapidly.Various websites and APPshas came out as well,whose interface design style has changed with the trend of the times constantly.Now flat design has become the mainstream of the website interface design,which follows the design concept of “less is more”.Flat design pays more attention to the information itself and solves the problems of bloated and unhighlighting information on the previous website interface design.So that it highlights the key information on the websiteand gives the website visitors simple and neat visual effects with bright colors,making their user experience more pleasant.This paper begins with the understanding of the origin,definition and characteristics of the flat design,and analyzes and summarizes advantages and performance techniques of applying the flat design to the website interface design from the aspects of the information architecture,the interface design style and the interface visual elements respectively based on point of the pleasantuser experience..Also all of these design methods summed up before will be applied to my own following design practice.In the practice process I found the problem that the application of flat design in the website design will probably make the overall style of the website too monotonous andthe theme of the websitelack of visual atmosphere.Facing these problems,I follow the website themeclosely and then strengthenthe visual elements designin the layout design by using bold and diverse color design,creative font design and unconventional navigation design to enrich the visual interface so the website can satisfy the users' emotional needs andgive the users more pleasant browsing experience.
