Research On The Dilemma Of The Production Of Urban TV Variety Shows

At present,the unipolar television communication in China has been broken which used to be that “CCTV dominates and gives priority to the Chinese television market”.The new and multiplex situation combines with five patterns including the CCTV,Provincial Satellite TV station,Provincial TV station,City TV station and Foreign TV station.In the new round of market share battle,variety show has become a new position for the audience resources.City TV,its large number,but because of the small coverage,lack of resources,the market is small and other issues,in the development of variety show in a low level of competition.In this paper,to improve the core competitiveness of urban television media considerations,for the development of urban TV variety show dilemma to find a new way out.Accordingly,the thesis will explore all sorts of dilemmas that the City TV station variety shows encountered in the process of development from the production aspect.It will combine the theories of media ecological environment and Broadcast Separation System and unite theory with practice.To acquire powerful materials for the research,the author will use the method of participatory observation and participate the process of production in variety shows.The thesis mainly expounds from three aspects:originally,finding out the cause of the dilemma: first,it will discover the development of City TV station variety show influenced by what factors in contrast with other media,from the aspects of policy system and economic analysis.Second,in terms of content production,figure out how do a series of changes influence the development of City TV station variety show under the mode of "separation system".Additionally,taking variety shows of Shen Zhen TV as examples,points out the problems of their shows in recent years to breakthrough the bottlenecks which the City TV station are facing;Finally,the development of urban TV variety show to make a reflection,urban TV variety program should be out of the "phenomenal" program errors,the use of Internet thinking actively on the variety of scientific and correct positioning,give full play to the advantages of localization,integration of resources,In order to obtain new breakthroughs and development.
