Regional Broadcasting And Its Media Environment

Regional broadcasts refers to the local radio broadcast in some area, is a mass medium which for mass communication activities within the area. Based on the European and American media ecology as the theoretical background, this paper analysis the ecology’s structure of broadcast media in some area, from the media influence on people’s life and social culture development perspective. Through a case study of guizhou province Qixingguan integrated broadcasting, this paper look the regional broadcasting as a plane and discuss regional the regional media ecology and media culture.This paper argues that the structure of regional broadcasting media ecology in this area is implemented through the following three aspects. First, the regional broadcasting structured area’s perception of the ecology, in which people can perceive the external ecology is built by the media. Second, the regional broadcasting ecology built area symbols, the media has its unique symbol system, and the influence of people’s life. Third, regional radio at a deeper level to build the regional social ecology, and influence the local social culture. Through the analysis of regional culture characteristics of radio, the article thinks the regional broadcasting will join in our daily life of local residents life, influence people’s perception to the outside world, and even the entire social culture structure. Finally, this paper answer how the regional broadcasting to build a harmonious regional media ecology, and regional broadcasting should bear the responsibility of the structure of the regional media culture, the media itself should pay attention to culture consciousness, reasonable media culture value pursue area.This paper includes the following five chapters:The first chapter is introduction, it is the briefly state about research object, research method, literature review;The second chapter, a part of the problem, is under the perspective of regional broadcasting media ecology, introduce the media ecology and regional broadcasting;The third chapter is a broadcasting situation of Qixingguan area, the study of case, taking Qixingguan integrated radio for example, provide empirical basis for follow-up studies;The fourth chapter is the medium of regional radio ecology structure, concrete analysis of regional radio and how to build the regional media ecology, this chapter and the third chapter is the analysis part of the problem;The fifth chapter is a reflection of the regional radio and regional media ecology structure. How to building a harmonious regional media ecology, and how the media shall bear the liability of the structure of the regional culture? The author put forward these problems.
