Application Research Of Multi-site Collaborative Product Data Management System Based On Teamcenter Platform In Home Appliance Enterprises

With the economic globalization accelerating, the information technology revolution changed with each passing day, the world economy structure is undergoing great changes. In China, with the rapid development of enterprise system restructuring?consumer diversification and the information technology development, the competition among these enterprises has become fierce. In order to stay ahead of in the product market competition, the enterprises have to improve their core competitiveness through the introduction of innovative mechanisms. With the rapid development of information technology, network technology and database technology, it provides a strong support for the computer collaboration work based on computer technology research and application. The traditional serial design method already can't meet the needs of the modern enterprise development, it is vital for a company to select the suitable Production Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and suitable modules from various PLM systems in order to establish appropriate specific enterprise information technology management system. Therefore the computer collaboration design integration platform can allow designers to break the constraints of time, space and design methods, etc., so that designer can integrate design resources on different computers to achieve collaborative design, and shorten product development cycles and improve the product quality, which has an great important value for both in theory and practice.In this thesis, on the background that a household electrical appliance enterprise want to take advantage of information technology boom and good opportunity to accelerate their company's internal information technology management, propose to establish the PDM product data management system to enhance the business operational capabilities. And according to the company's actual business situation, carry out a lot of technical summary and study to determine the content for the PDM system implementation, develop a product lifecycle management solution based on Teamcenter software platform. And for the selected Teamcenter system, a large number of customization and secondary development have been implemented according to the business needs, complete a successful PDM product data management system in line with the enterprise user requirement.The implementation of the PDM systems which studied in this thesis is mainly used for the household electrical appliance enterprises to achieve effective management for the product data and business processes, focusing on enterprise product data management?multi-site collaborative design and user organizations management demand analysis, After the solution implementation and several months on test, the solution is proved very suitable for the household appliances development process and the enterprise R&D management efficiency has been greatly improved.
