| The year of 2014 is not only the start of deepening reform, but also the 20th year of China's access to the international Internet. At the same year, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) raised internet-security to the national strategic level. To strengthen the management of internet security and network press further, the Central Committee of CPC founded a central network and information technological leading group. Born under this background, a series of critiques signed of "Guoping" attracted much attention for its frequently comments on politically sensitive events. Since elected as "Chinese Internet ten Characters" in the following year, "Guoping" becomes an important force which can guide the network public opinion.Guoping's comments are not personal opinions, and not ridiculous folk discourses either. They are power games based on national interests and life competitions in the field of thought. The use of discourse means, such as "Disease metaphor", "Identity rhetoric", "Intertextuality", "Pre-hypothesis" and "Prototype precipitation", makes discourse style of Guoping's comments serious and steady. Discourse is not only a spoken language or text, but also the place where ideology lives and struggles. Traditionally, people think that identity decides discourses. But on the basis of Foucault's opinion, a French scholar named Fairclough clearly put forward the viewpoint of "Discourses construct social identity" called the" identity" function of the discourse about the relationship of discourse and identity. As this paper's research object is "Guoping" review, discourse analysis theory is first introduced. Then, language style and construction of social identity acted during production activities of discourse are analyzed. Furthermore, the deep relations between political factors and power are revealed. At last, the paper sums up the inspirations and reflections during the discourses' production activities. |
