This paper mainly studies the public channel publicity, the problem of the missing from the basic connotation of public channel publicity, lack of public channel publicity, analysis of the causes of the realistic problems, publicity to promote the countermeasures from three aspects of government public channel to study. Through sampling survey of selected the 11 public channel, the 12 hours record TV program content, using statistical analysis method and observation method to analyze its specific problems, based on public channel public evaluation standard, explore the realistic problems, lack of public channel publicity to explain the reason analysis, finally puts forward some countermeasures for government public channel publicity. Public channel, is our country special policy channels, has exposed many problems in the development process, program and the serious problem of three common long-term neglect of coverage of vulnerable groups, the program too little, and so on questions of public class. This requires the government and the department of radio, film and television from system, policy support, put forward concrete and effective solutions. Public channel "public" the word itself contains the co-ownership and the meaning of the public, public welfare, public channel as a special kind of public product, its in the process of development to strengthen the publicity and the expression of public interest.Public channels should be gradually found a development path suited to the condition of our country, whether it is a learning management idea and operation mode of western public television, and opens up a new development path, need the government departments of radio, film and television, public channel itself, the joint efforts of society and the public.
